Home School Art: Sculpture and Pottery  $130

In this 8-week sculpture and pottery class, students will create 3-D art with clay, paper mache, polymer clay, wire and more! Our instructor Suzanne is a skilled educator and artist who will guide your students to expand their art knowledge and improve on their skills. There will be opportunities use a potter’s wheel and learn clay hand building techniques.

We have great excitement for this upcoming class and we have decided to break it into two sessions so to better differentiate age groups and provide a smaller atmosphere for students to engage with the teacher and class projects.

  • Younger Students (5 to 9) Thursday Mornings, 9:30 to 10:45 am

  • Older Students (10 to 15) Thursday Mornings, 11:15am to 12:30pm

 Class dates:

  • NO CLASS April 20 (we run a break camp for school break so the classroom is occupied)
  • April 27
  • NO CLASS May 4 (instructor away)
  • NO CLASS May 11 (instructor away)

Home School Science: Nature Ecology   $130

Description: An 8 week multifaceted education program focusing on the natural ecology of Maine and it’s diverse habitats.  Half of these classes will take place at Fiddlehead in Scarborough and half will meet offsite to explore local natural areas.

 Ages: 
Mixed age, 5 to 15 years old.
Students will need to fill out the required Fiddlehead enrollment forms, these can be found here New Student Enrollment
Meeting time: 
Tuesdays 10am-11:30am.
Meeting Dates:
  • April 25th,
  • May 2nd,
  • May 9th,
  • May 16th,
  • May 23rd,
  • May 30th,
  • June 6th,
  • June 13th.
  • (8 meetings total, covering four topics).

Cost:

  • $130 for the full 8 week class.
  • To enroll Fiddlehead requires either full payment for the class or a $60 non-refundable deposit per student. This deposit does apply towards the total cost of the class.
  • We do have a 10% sibling discount for students enrolled in the same class
